Maybe This Is Why

People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

Good times

hahahahaha omg... Emily is trying to sell me on the fact that she's not a cannibal right now... after she just said "I wonder what human flesh would taste like... I mean I wouldn't go out and eat someone... but like what if it was offered up... but I don't know if I could, because I mean that still is a human... but maybe it died of natural causes... I mean I don't want a rotting carcas or anything... but I don't wanna eat human cattle either".

Growing Up

I have had a Blurty.com blog, since 2003. The community was always jam packed full of teenie boppers professing their teen angst, I will grudgingly admit that that was a great description of my blurty. I have now decided that after 7 years of blogging about absolutely nothing, and absolutely everything (in my little sheltered world at least) in my Blurty, it is time to grow up in my blogging. I am not necessarily promising entries full of intense intellectualism, but I'm going to try and do a slow transition from song lyrics, and whining about boys, to maybe a bit of expressing my opinion on a plethora of topics.

I have no solid opinions on politics, religion, abortion, or foreign relations. I am actually firm in my beliefs on very few things at this point in my life. I am admittedly wishy-washy in many facets of my life. I am going to use this blog as a learning and growing tool, as I have recently had this inkling that it may actually be time to grow up.
